Multilingualism Programme
Language Courses, Meetings and Events offered by Our Alliance
As part of the alliance between the AGH University of Science & Technology Krakow, the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, the Luleå University of Technology, the Université du Luxembourg, and the Université Fédérale Toulouse Midi-Pyrénées, we have developed a unique Multilingualism Programme with online & on-site course offerings and events available to all UNIVERSEH students studying at each of our partner universities.
Our aim is not only to equip students and staff with the language skills necessary for fostering cooperation between European partners in the space sector, but also to provide safe digital spaces for developing a new sense of European identity based on the principles of plurilingualism, intercultural understanding, mobility, diversity, and democratic values.
The Multilingualism Programme has been made possible through an innovative collaboration between the Language Centres of our alliance, who have been deeply involved in creating this new programme through their shared expertise in language pedagogy, digital tools, and online learning. We are excited to offer an interesting range of language courses available online and in-person for UNIVERSEH students, with the aim of enabling multilingualism and mobility between our European partner universities, encouraging autonomous and peer-to-peer learning, and creating new hybrid learning environments to meet the challenges of international and space communication!
In addition to intensive language courses offered on-site at each of our partner universities, we offer several online courses: Intensive Language Courses for French & German, English Refresher Courses, Language Cafés (eTandems), a Space Dictionary Course for learning terminology on the subject of "Space and Humanity", and we additionally offer Test Preparation Courses for acquiring language certificates in English, DaF, French, Swedish and Polish thanks to support from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
