Day1: What happened today?

The first day of the General Meeting is over: What happened during the day?  

Meetings and workshops

Several meetings, workshops and presentations were organised throughout the day.  

• Governing board: meeting to validate general policy, major goals and medium- and long-term strategies.  

• Quality Assurance Committee: meeting to talk about monitoring the quantitative and qualitative implementation of UNIVERSEH’s activities. 

• Crew guide workshop : workshop to present and discuss on the Crew Guide, the practical handbook to understand what UNIVERSEH is, and how we work together. 

• Communication workshop: workshop to present the communication processes, and the website new structure.  

• Humanities research networking session: networking session for researchers.  

• Master in Space Sustainability presentation: presentation on the new Master programme in Space Sustainability.  

Cultural activity 

Participants were invited to visit the UNamur’s astronomical obversatory. By group of 10, participants discovered the observatory, its equipment, and its research and educational purposes, and got the chance to meet the observatory’s team.
