EMPOWERING STUDENTS IN SPACE EDUCATION

STUDENTS

Student involvement in UNIVERSEH is a dynamic exchange of opportunities and responsibilities. Students benefit from a range of initiatives, including mobility programs, university courses, internship opportunities and networking events. These activities provide valuable learning experiences, foster cross-cultural collaboration, and enhance professional development. In return, students play an essential role in shaping the alliance by ensuring their voices are heard and their interests are represented.

Student Council

A key pillar of student participation is the Student Council, the primary body responsible for student representation within UNIVERSEH. Comprising two to three elected student representatives per partner university, the Student Council coordinates student participation in the project and engages them to create an active UNIVERSEH student and alumni community, both at the Alliance level, and locally. This structure empowers students to actively contribute to decision-making processes and influence the development of initiatives that directly impact their academic and professional growth.

Student Clubs

To ensure student commitment and support student activities, local UNIVERSEH student clubs are formed. The clubs are self-organized associations that meet regularly and hold their own events on local and/or international level. They consist of a dynamic group of students from each partner university dedicated to organizing a variety of engaging events that promote space-related topics and foster a sense of community. Student clubs host workshops, lecture series, game sessions and other social events, all centered around the theme of space exploration and innovation.

Their primary purpose is to raise awareness of the opportunities within the UNIVERSEH network. Through these events, the clubs aim to create an inclusive and interactive environment where students can deepen their knowledge of space-related fields, collaborate with peers across universities, and actively contribute to the growth of the UNIVERSEH community.
