Activities for school

 

  • Space-Themed Day (secondary school)

Offer your students a unique day of discovery and exchange centered around space. Through interactive workshops, they will explore the wide range of disciplines shaping this forward-looking field. Science, technology, and even biology, this experience will reveal the full multidisciplinary nature of the space sector in a hands-on and engaging way.

  • Exploring the Sky (primary school)

In the enchanting setting of an immersive planetarium, students are invited on a fascinating journey through the Universe. Seated beneath a starry dome, they will experience a spectacular projection that unveils the mysteries of the cosmos.

  • Explore the Mysteries of the Sky (secondary school)

Immerse your students in a fascinating journey through space, combining a visit to UNamur’s Astronomical Observatory with an experience in a mobile planetarium. Specially designed for secondary school students, this activity offers an interactive and engaging introduction to astronomy.

  • Planetarium sessions

In an immersive planetarium, visitors are invited on a fascinating journey through the Universe to discover the mysteries of the cosmos from mythical constellations to distant galaxies, including the planets of our solar system and the most awe-inspiring celestial phenomena.

  • Visit of the Astronomical Observatory

Come and discover astronomy during the special opening of the Antoine Thomas Educational Observatory at the University of Namur. The observatory team will guide you under the dome to explore the three telescopes housed there, including a large-diameter solar telescope: the only one of its kind in Wallonia, Belgium.
