Courses

Space exploration is an area of research and activity traditionally associated with science and technology. However, many key questions regarding space exploration concern social sciences and humanities, as space activities have evident social, cultural and economic impacts on our societies.

Therefore, UNIVERSEH includes social sciences and humanities as disciplines in the curricula as they are essential to understand the meaning and the impact of space exploration on humankind.

PhD Courses

At UNIVERSEH, PhD-tailored courses are designed to support advanced research and foster innovation across all dimensions of space studies. These courses offer in-depth, specialized training that complements doctoral research. PhD students benefit from a collaborative environment, cutting-edge resources, and opportunities to engage with industry and space agencies, ensuring their research contributes meaningfully to the future of space.

UNVERSEH Academy

UNIVERSEH aims to create a program complementary to the regular curriculum that promotes cultural exchange, teamwork and a strong European identity. We offer three learning programs for students: “Space up your Career ” to develop professional skills, “Language and Culture” to improve language skills and cultural understanding and “Intersectional Diversity” to promote diversity through workshops and networking.

Programmes

UNIVERSEH offers specialized master’s programmes designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the rapidly evolving field of space exploration.

With access to state-of-the-art facilities, expert faculty, and collaboration opportunities with leading space agencies and industries, students gain hands-on experience and a competitive edge in shaping the future of space.

Blended Intensive Programmes

At UNIVERSEH, our Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) combine the best of virtual learning with impactful short-term physical mobility at one of the UNIVERSEH partner universities. These educational programmes are designed to provide students with opportunities to enhance their academic knowledge, develop new skills, and explore innovative subjects. These innovative programmes are designed to create meaningful, hands-on educational experiences that transcend borders and disciplines. Each programme focuses on space-related themes and also include extracurricular events.

"Taking part in the Artic School has given me a lot on a personal level. I meet people with different cultures and profiles, but all interested in a common subject: space. I had the opportunity to learn things that I wouldn't have covered in my academic career."
