A collaborative forum on roles, strategy, practice, and professional development.

Who is the forum for?

We welcome academic teachers, researchers and administrative staff who:

  • implement or are planning to implement English-Medium Education (EME) and initiatives in European universities and beyond
  • wish to share concrete teaching, training, or support materials used in English Medium Instruction (EMI) and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) in EME contexts
  • have introduced, or are developing, EMI and EAP competence certification at institutional or alliance level
  • want to learn from others’ experience with EMI and EAP teaching, training, resources, and certification
  • have experience with or want to learn about peer-coaching between language and content teachers
  • support or are planning to support teachers and students enrolled in English-language programmes
  • are interested in discussion, brainstorming, and joint problem-solving

The forum is open to participants both from European University Alliances and from institutions beyond the alliances who wish to share their experience with English-Medium Education and learn from alliance-based approaches.
