Online Dialogue with the European Commission on Education

We are delighted to invite you to an exclusive online dialogue session with the European Commission (DG EAC) on the recently launched “Union of Skills” initiative and the link between UNIVERSEH and its stakeholders’ community.
This session offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with the European Commission in order to have the strategic vision of the European Commission on education, including continuing education and lifelong learning. This is also an opportunity to discuss deeper and concrete interactions among the alliance and its esteemed stakeholder communi-ty.

During the dialogue, you will:
• Learn about the recently launched “Union of Skills” initiative, aimed at developing the EU’s human capital and strengthening its global competitiveness.
• Gain a deeper insight into the European Universities initiative and UNIVERSEH’s ongoing activities.
• Have the opportunity to discuss with the Policy Officer and UNIVERSEH Representatives on deeper interac-tions on Education and beyond.

With the exclusive participation of Mrs DEWANDELER Ioana – Policy Officer Higher Education at European Commission – DG EAC:

Ioana Dewandeler is a Policy Officer for Higher Education in the European Commission’s Directorate General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture where she is coordinating the European Universities initiative. Ioana has over 17 years prior experience in various positions within the European Commission in the fields of higher education policy, strategy and coordination of the education programme Erasmus+, social sciences and humanities in research and innovation, and the socio-economic dimension of transport research policies. Ioana studied economic and social public administration and European law in Romania and France.
