Our stakeholders enrich UNIVERSEH's mission and impact

From academic institutions and industry partners to governmental bodies and community organisations, each stakeholder brings distinct perspectives, expertise, and resources. Their diverse contributions foster innovation, support cross-sector collaboration, and help shape a forward-looking vision for the European Space Education landscape. By engaging with these varied partners, UNIVERSEH creates a dynamic network that enhances educational experiences, drives research, and opens new pathways for students.

UNIVERSEH Stakeholders come in many forms and offer unique opportunities:

  • Agencies, Councils, Ministries, and Associations – These bodies shape policies, set standards, and support development at national and international levels. Your involvement can help steer policy conversations and ensure youth voices are heard.
  • Research Institutions – Collaboration with research centres lets you take part in cutting-edge projects, contribute to publications, and deepen your academic journey.
  • Industry, including SMEs – Whether it’s through internships, mentoring, or joint innovation projects, industry partners bring practical insight and potential career paths.
  • Business Centres and Incubators – Got a start-up idea? These stakeholders offer resources, advice, and space to help you turn your vision into a venture.
  • Regional Authorities – Regional bodies work to boost local economies and communities. By engaging with them, you can contribute to regional development and find opportunities to apply your skills locally.
  • Municipalities – These are the closest level of governance to the people. Projects with municipalities allow you to solve real-life urban challenges and see the direct impact of your work.

Become an official stakeholder

Joining UNIVERSEH as an official stakeholder means becoming part of a collaborative European ecosystem dedicated to advancing education, research, and innovation in the space domain. Follow the steps below to start your journey.

What does it mean for you to be an official stakeholder for UNIVERSEH?

Your organisation will have the opportunity to network, collaborate and be highlighted through our various Alliance-wide media platforms, online and in-person events, instead of only regionally. There is no direct financial transaction or payment, as all value transactions are in-kind.

What are the ways to get involved?

To get involved your organisation can:

  • find researchers from all seven universities in the Alliance to work on new innovations and apply for grants.
  • engage and assess emerging talent through internships and mentorships.
  • participate in our master’s or supporting courses as guest experts, highlighting and presenting the activities of your organisation , and share your insights through interviews in our podcasts or stakeholder newsletter.
  • participate during our events, network with our researchers and students, and participate as experts during panel discussions.

What are the three steps to becoming an official stakeholder?

You would meet with one of our members responsible for stakeholders in order to find out if we have synergies. Please use the contact form below to write us and let us know which country you are from. You will then be contacted for a meeting either in person or via video chat.

We would need you to use our template for a ‘Letter of Support’ and address it to the leader of the UNIVERSEH work package Service to Society: Prof. Victoria Barabash, Luleå Technical University. The Steering Committee of the work package will process your information and your wishes on how you are interested in cooperating.

In order for your logo and website to be linked and you to stay informed about UNIVERSEH, you will need to answer a short three question survey. Please skip the question with checkboxes, as you will have already included that part in our Letter of Support.
