UNIVERSEH Mentoring Programme
This programme is designed to support students interested in the space sector by connecting them with experienced mentors from academia and industry.
The UNIVERSEH Mentoring Programme helps students gain insights and guidance for their careers in the space field, while also encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship by providing a space to develop their ideas and receive advice on their professional paths. Open to students from all disciplines, the programme is intended for those who wish to explore or develop a career in the space sector, regardless of their academic background.
Through the UNIVERSEH Alliance, participants can also connect with mentors and peers across Europe, helping them broaden their perspectives and gain a better understanding and insights into the European space ecosystem.
Programme information:
- Open to students from universities part of the UNIVERSEH Partner Universities.
- Open to Bachelor’s, Master’s, Engineering and PhD students from all academic disciplines connected to the space sector.
- Support and guidance for your academic, research, entrepreneurial or career projects and aspirations.
- Meetings can be conducted in-person, online, or in a hybrid format and may be held in a common language.
Mentors
Interdisciplinarity is at the heart of the UNIVERSEH Mentoring Programme. Mentors from across the Alliance and its wider stakeholder network bring diverse expertise in space-related disciplines to support students’ academic, entrepreneurial and career aspirations. Mentor–mentee matching is tailored to each student’s interests, needs and projects.

Key Dates
- Mentees application deadline: 20 October 2026 (23:59).
- Mentor–mentee matching results: Late October to early November 2026. All applicants will be notified by email.
- Programme duration: October 2026 – October 2027.
- At least 9 individual mentoring meetings from October 2026 to October 2027.
