Call for Papers · Space Resources Conference 2025 “Path to Lunar Sustainability”

"Path to Lunar Sustainability" is the theme of the 8th Space Resources Conference, which will take place at the AGH University of Krakow on May 21–23, 2025. Abstracts can be submitted until March 15.

Organized by the Space Technology Centre AGH, the event serves as a discussion forum on cutting-edge technologies applied in space exploration and resource utilization projects, with a strong emphasis on improving human living conditions and protecting Earth’s environment.

The conference attracts researchers and experts from around the world. Its program includes plenary and invited lectures, oral and poster presentations, special sessions, industry tracks, and panel discussions. A student session (3-minute presentation + poster) is also planned.

Paper Submission Guidelines

Abstracts (one page) with illustrations and references are accepted in accordance with the conference topics. Authors also have the opportunity to organize and manage special sessions during the conference. Each session should include four to six papers from the listed topics or new proposals by the session organizer.

All registered abstracts will be published along with the conference program. The scientific committee will select full papers to be further developed and published in Springer Nature books, available online on SpringerLink. Each paper will undergo a double peer-review process.

  • March 15 – Abstract submission deadline
  • March 31 – Abstract acceptance notification
  • April 15 – Early registration deadline
  • April 29 – Regular registration deadline
  • From April 29 – Late registration
  • July 2025 – Final full paper submission (minimum 6 pages)
