The local UNIVERSEH team in Toulouse elected its new president on June 14 2026.
Following a unanimous vote, Aïtor Olivos was elected to lead the local team and support the development of its activities and initiatives throughout the year ahead. Currently a third-year (L3) student engineer in the Digital Sciences Department at Toulouse INP – ENSEEIHT, he has been entrusted with accompanying the team during what is expected to be a particularly ambitious and dynamic year for the French local team.
Aïtor succeeds Guillermo Lázaro Sorbete, who played an important role in the development of the local team over the past year and a half. During his mandate, he contributed to strengthening the team’s structure, encouraging broader student participation, and supporting the organisation of numerous activities and initiatives at both local and European levels.
UNIVERSEH expresses its gratitude to Guillermo for his dedication, commitment, and contribution to the development of the local community. His work helped consolidate a strong basis for future initiatives and reinforced student engagement within the alliance.
This transition represents a new stage for the local team in Toulouse and reflects the shared ambition to continue promoting student involvement, collaboration, and participation across the wider European university alliance. Under this new leadership, the team aims to continue existing projects while contributing to future opportunities and initiatives within UNIVERSEH.
