5.Tera-Nuits +1

On November 24, Vauban, Ecole et Lycée Français de Luxembourg hosted an event show 5.TERA-NUITS+1, a theatrical performance on the theme of space.

The event organised by Espace Culture of the University of Luxembourg, UNIVERSEH and Institut français of Luxembourg.

Astrophysicist Jean-Philippe Uzan and actor-director Étienne Pommeret hosted a special event that combined a performance with a meet-and-greet.

The two enthusiasts of the sky, the Universe, and our planet invited the audience to an extraordinary evening.

The show 5. Tera.Nuits+1 was a scientific and poetic voyage through the evolution of our understanding of the sky. We encountered women and men, scientists, poets, philosophers, thinkers, and dreamers from both the past and the present.

Galileo, Borges, Einstein, Prévert, Jocelyn Bell, Twain, Anise Koltz, and many more engaged in cross-temporal conversations. Following the performance, the audience was invited to a Q&A session with Jean-Philippe Uzan and Étienne Pommeret, who addressed all of the questions raised about our universe and our place within it.

The event maintained a delicate balance between science and literature, with a few unexpected surprises thrown in for good measure.
