Each question prompted lively conversations and allowed for a comprehensive exploration of various viewpoints.

The following thought-provoking questions were posed to the students:

  • How would you describe the current status of diversity on your campus?
  • Which groups are particularly present and which could be better represented?
  • What do you think are the biggest challenges in your studies?
  • What specific actions would you like to see to break down these barriers and create an inclusive environment for all students?

This event invited students from all study levels and disciplines to join forces , creating a platform to learn, discuss, and envision a future defined by diversity, inclusion, and equality. The conference concluded with closing remarks, leaving the attendees inspired, motivated, and equipped with a deeper understanding of the significance of diversity in both space and higher education. UNIVERSEH’s third Diversity Conference organised by  Heinrich-Heine University in Düsseldorf was a   success, thanks to the  enthusiasm and active participation of the students.
