Over 3,300 Attend European Researchers’ Night at Cité de l’Espace!

Beyond UNIVERSEH Engages with Enthusiastic Participants.

On Friday night, Beyond UNIVERSEH had the privilege of participating in the European Researchers’ Night at Cité de l’Espace!

Imagine 300 cities across Europe, where on the same evening, at the same time, researchers from various fields gathered to connect with the public, sharing their passions and discoveries. This remarkable event is known as the European Researchers’ Night! The evening’s program was packed with experiments, captivating screenings, mesmerising performances, mini-conferences (in complete darkness!), lightning-fast research challenges, a relaxation zone, a refreshment bar, and an inter-galactic DJ set…

In the vibrant city of Toulouse, more than 200 scientists from diverse disciplines came together on Friday 29 September 2023. They welcomed the public to join them for an unforgettable evening, all themed around “Our Future”.

Beyond UNIVERSEH project had the honour of being a part of this event. Our team engaged with over 3,300 participants through original and unconventional activities. Armed with Mars bars (yes, the candy bar!) and “Mars is no candy bar” stickers, we initiated insightful conversations with the audience about the challenges and mysteries surrounding the Red Planet. Simultaneously, we shed light on our project’s groundbreaking advancements and opportunities.

The European Researchers’ Night in Toulouse is co-produced by the University of Toulouse, Toulouse Métropole, and Cité de l’Espace.
