This event, organized by the local student team of UNIVERSEH in Université Toulouse III – Paul Sabatier, brought together leading experts to discuss the challenges and advancements in space medical research:
- Audrey Berthier, Executive Director of MEDES – Institute for Space Medicine and Physiology.
- Anne Pavy-Le Traon, MD, PhD, Associate Professor of Neurology, Head of Ergonomics Laboratory at CHU Toulouse, Deputy Medical Director at MEDES, and Member of the Medical Board of the European Space Agency – ESA.
- Adam Walters, Specialist in Astrophysics at UT3 and co-director of the master program “Life Without the Universe.”
- Sara Laurencin, PhD, DDS, Specialist in Oral Medicine, Dean of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at Toulouse, and Head of the Department of Periodontology.
- Florent Destruhaut, DDS, PhD, Professor of Dental Surgery, Social Anthropology, and Researcher in Space Ethics.
The conference ended up with interactive discussion, where the experts shared their perspectives and answered questions from the audience.
